Actor Rosie Perez (1964-) might be best known for her distinctive voice, but she was a dancer on Soul Train in the early 1980s before being discovered by director Spike Lee. Perez choreographed dance videos for Janet Jackson (1966-) and Diana Ross and she choreographed and danced in routines for The Fly Girls on the TV show In Living Color in the early 1990s.
