Actor/dancer Sarah Churchill (1914-1982) was the daughter of Winston Churchill and appeared in several films during the 1930s through the 1950s. She is perhaps best known for starring with Fred Astaire (1899-1987) and Jane Powell (1929-2021) in the musical film Royal Wedding (1951), a semi-biographical film about Astaire’s performing partnership with his sister Adele.
Also Born Today: Daniel "Teddy" Fraser (1907- ?) of the performing group Tip, Tap and Toe, that appeared in several films during the 1930s and 1940s.
