Casey Nicholaw
Broadway choreographer Casey Nicholaw (1962-) performed in community theatre as a youth and went to New York after graduating from UCLA. As a performer, he was in the original productions of Crazy For You (1992), Victor/Victoria (1995), and Thoroughly Modern Millie (2002). He choreographed Spamalot (2005), The Book of Mormon (2011), and Aladdin (2014), winning a Tony for Direction of The Book of Mormon.
Also Born Today: Dancer Zhora Korolyov (1987-2021) performed on the Polish version of Dancing with the Stars and appeared in films and on TV programs.
