Steven Boockvor
A Chorus Line (1975) alum Steven Boockvor (1942-) and his wife Denise Pence are the basis for the married characters Al and Kristine from the show. Interestingly, he did not play himself in the production, which was one of the longest-running shows in history (1975-1990). He was in the original Broadway version of Cabaret (1966) and Annie (1977), but the character based on his life in A Chorus Line remains his lasting legacy.
